I wish goodreads' rating system was different because this manga is like a solid 3。75。 I liked the story and the art enough to want to continue reading the next volumes, but I would just say I liked this volume。 I'm trying to read more sapphic romance because I just have never read many。 I tend to prefer romance stories as graphic novels or manga because I feel the art plays such a huge role in conveying the emotions and love and all that。 When I'm just reading the words I feel like I'm missing I wish goodreads' rating system was different because this manga is like a solid 3。75。 I liked the story and the art enough to want to continue reading the next volumes, but I would just say I liked this volume。 I'm trying to read more sapphic romance because I just have never read many。 I tend to prefer romance stories as graphic novels or manga because I feel the art plays such a huge role in conveying the emotions and love and all that。 When I'm just reading the words I feel like I'm missing a certain element in the story, but to physically see the blush when someone grabs another person's hand, or to see the way someone looks at their crush: it just adds something。 With yuri manga I also find it easier to find well recommended stories, but with your regular sapphic romance novels I have no idea where to start。 。。。more

I'm giving this。。。 3。5 stars。 Rounded up。 This series is ok。 The drama is good- I'm just not so sure I like the president of the student council (she is one of the main characters)。 She's just a little self-centered and a lot of times it feels like she's kind of pressuring Yuu to do physical stuff with her。 Also for a while in the series I couldn't tell if Yuu was asexual or just really repressing her feelings and I wish that maybe that would've been a little clearer earlier on。 I'm giving this。。。 3。5 stars。 Rounded up。 This series is ok。 The drama is good- I'm just not so sure I like the president of the student council (she is one of the main characters)。 She's just a little self-centered and a lot of times it feels like she's kind of pressuring Yuu to do physical stuff with her。 Also for a while in the series I couldn't tell if Yuu was asexual or just really repressing her feelings and I wish that maybe that would've been a little clearer earlier on。 。。。more

And Yuu is sure she doesn't feel the same way。So, I assume the series will follow these girls as they grown into their own, and they navigate there friendship and their feelings for each other。 I do wonder if Yuu will actually fall for Touko once she gets to know her。So far it's really cute, and spoiler alert, I enjoyed volume two even more。 。。。more

I do plan to read on, but found this first volume not so good, particularly regarding insta-love, consent issues, unappealing art style, two pretty blah protagonists。 I am intrigued by a possibly asexual/aromantic main character。

So charming and sweet。 Makes my Sapphic little heart melt。 Loved it!

Not bad, but the book was some well-needed rep in general。 The artwork is beautiful and I like how often the lighting changes。I guess my only main issue is that Koito clearly comes across as asexual but Nanami keeps romantically interacting with her despite Koito's apparent lack of interest in physical touching。 Perhaps it's explored more in later volumes but it just kind of irked me more than anything。 It's also weird that it's focused on Koito's POV but really the book is about the mysterious Not bad, but the book was some well-needed rep in general。 The artwork is beautiful and I like how often the lighting changes。I guess my only main issue is that Koito clearly comes across as asexual but Nanami keeps romantically interacting with her despite Koito's apparent lack of interest in physical touching。 Perhaps it's explored more in later volumes but it just kind of irked me more than anything。 It's also weird that it's focused on Koito's POV but really the book is about the mysterious Nanami。 。。。more

En cuanto supe de qué trataba esta historia quise leerla y por fin tuve tiempo de hacerlo, sin duda resulta interesante que la protagonista tenga problemas para desarrollar sentimientos románticos。

v cute !!i really like the relationship dynamic, and that to shake it up a bit the main character was the one who was aloof and emotionally detached and the love interest was the emotional one。 i also like that there were some deeper musings even though they were dealt with in a light way。 (like the main character's struggle with thinking she's not able to love or be interested in anyone/anything)。 v cute !!i really like the relationship dynamic, and that to shake it up a bit the main character was the one who was aloof and emotionally detached and the love interest was the emotional one。 i also like that there were some deeper musings even though they were dealt with in a light way。 (like the main character's struggle with thinking she's not able to love or be interested in anyone/anything)。 。。。more

I was browsing the manga section of OverDrive and stumbled onto this one。 I thought it looked interesting, so I gave it a read。I am personally not a fan of teaching manga or recommending manga to students。 I love to read it and I think it's fun, but I don't think it's something appropriate for me to recommend to students。 WarningsSex- HomosexualityOverall Review- I've read and seen more intriguing slice of life manga。 I felt like I was really only ever getting creepy love vibes from everywhere。 I was browsing the manga section of OverDrive and stumbled onto this one。 I thought it looked interesting, so I gave it a read。I am personally not a fan of teaching manga or recommending manga to students。 I love to read it and I think it's fun, but I don't think it's something appropriate for me to recommend to students。 WarningsSex- HomosexualityOverall Review- I've read and seen more intriguing slice of life manga。 I felt like I was really only ever getting creepy love vibes from everywhere。 Even the subplot of the election didn't really make a very big appearance。 I think the concept is interesting and has potential, but it was flat。 The manga was too hyper focused on making the statement that it didn't feel real, which made the rest of the manga weak in comparison。 I know that manga traditionally get better as you go, so I'll give the next volume a try, but I don't know if I'll be impressed。 。。。more

Can't really judge after a single volume, but the premise of the "wanting to know what it feels like to fall/be in love" is kinda cute (even as it moves very, very fast), as is the art style。 Will be reading on! i wanted to like this so bad but it's so rushed!!! Nanami randomly falls in love with Koito after 2 conversations and gets really pushy? On top of that, Koito's reaction is so weird at times, the hand grab made no sense, i'm so disappointed i wanted to like this so bad but it's so rushed!!!

Jenni

Very sweet! Was afraid of it being super duper insta love, and it kinda was on one part, but a slower burn on the other, so a little best of both worlds。 I don’t often buy the second volume of a lot of mangas I start, but I’m very interested in the next book。 I hope I like it!

3。5 stars。 This was a cute & sweet start to this series。 I enjoyed the possible ace/aro rep, and am intrigued to see how the friendships develop。 I particularly appreciated how Nanami doesn’t pressure Yuu into anything or make her feel guilty for being who she is。

Found it by accident while on vacation 1 week after hearing about it so I had to buy it !
